Masumune Vs. Meihana

A breeze danced across the empty forest forcing the rusty colored leaves to follow it like puppets to it's will. The tree's bent and moaned in response to the cool air, their twisted forms trapped in a state of autumn slumber. And all the while, the sun above glowed brightly, unable to break the dense chill with it's radiant glow.

Mei turned her head towards the breeze, letting it blow the loose hair from her face. The akatsuki cloak was designed for many things, but it had trouble keeping the chill from bitting into her flesh. Even so, she loved this time of year. Maybe it was the fact she was hot natured and prefered the colder air. Maybe it was the autumn colors that danced around the forest. Or, most likely, it was the twisted form of the trees as they entered slumber for the remainder of the year. She inhailed deeply taking in the scents of the dy-

She turned her head quickly hearing a rusle. Turning around she spread a few seeds of the Sendobara plant on the ground. They sank into the ground and starting spreading their roots as far as they could. "Who's there?!" She shouted, "You'd be a fool to anger me so show yourself!"

"Hmph!" Masamune said as he appeared from the shadows. "You think you are so smart eh?"

Masamune bashed his fists together and readied them for battle.

"Well let's see what you got" Masamune said with a smile "EAT THIS!!!"

Masamune punched the ground and caused the earth to crack under it, making the ground split apart and fly around like cherry blossom petals.

Mei smiled leaping backwards to avoid the chunks of earth as the flew about. Creating a quick handsign she maniupated the roots that where still in the chunks to start growth. With in a mili-second vines lept from the airborne chunks and flew into the direction of the pink haired stranger.

"I'll show you that intellect far surpasses muscle. Only the foolish rely on brute force!" With that she stopped, clear of the earthen chunks, and made another hand sign "Hidden Jutsu: Black Garden Creation!". With this she poured her chakra into the remaining Sendobara roots beneath her forcing them to grow. They twisted and writhed into gruesome shapes of long dead tree's reaching for the sky and smiled.

With another quick flick she created a new hand sign, "Hidden Jutsu: Black Garden Puppet!" The dark trees sprouted vines that turned and twisted creating clones of Mei herself. She raised her arms and opened her palms outward toward the stranger and the clones lept after him.

"Hmm..." Masamune smiled "Sometimes brute strength is the way to go, even for someone like me"

Masamune dug his hands into the ground and ripped out two massive chunks of land that he used to crush the clones with. He threw the remaining pieces at the woman and her remaining clones like giant boomerangs.

"Now I think it is time to make a little boom" Masamune jumped into the air and let loose a drop kick in front of the woman, attempting to catch her in the massive crater he created.

As the chunks flew forwards Mei created a few more hand signs. "Earth Release: Rising Stone Spears." she muttered, allowing her chakra to reform the earth. Large spikes lept into the air surrounding her and sheilding her from the earthen chunks. She leaned back against one of the spikes and activated another Jutsu. Her Leech All Creation: Attack Prevention Technique pulled her into the stone and she transmitted her existance into a near by Sendobara tree.

The blow Masumune struck shock the very earth beneath her feet and she had to nearly grab the tree to keep from staggering. She made a quick handsign from her safe haven bending the roots of the Sendobara plant into the earth. They reach the remains of a long dead corpse and Mei poured her chakra into it reanimating it. Taking direct control of the remains through the 'Hidden Jutsu: Black Garden Puppet' she activated a Henge jutsu so that it took on her appearance.

The Fake Mei burst through the ground and pulled herself up dusting the remains of dirt from her cloak. "My oh my... Quite a kick you've got there, eh?" she giggled.

"You ain't seen nothing yet" Masamune smiled, but looked around with a serious glance. "So I guess these plants are the source of your power, you can make more of these plants by spreading around those seeds. Then you can do several things like make clones. And those break apart into more plants upon impact, from what I've seen so far"

Masamune clenched his fist and charged chakra into his hand.

"SO HOW ABOUT THIS?!!!!"

Masamune punched the ground and created a massive fissure in the ground. The giant crack in the earth was massive, over 50 meters wide.

The crator ripped through the earth tearing sevral of the Sendobara trees up and tossing them into it's craggy depths. Mei herself was far enough out of range to not recieve damage, but the puppet she had taken controll of was in a bit more trouble. Fake Mei jumped to the side narrowly landing on the edge of the fissure. A Sendobara root lept up and pulled her from it's edge. Masumune had actively destroyed the majority of her plants and their roots, but she was far from finished.
"You've only brushed the extent of my abilities. And yet you seem to have shown the majority of yours... Too bad." She giggled. Forming hand signs she shouted "Earth Release Resurrection Technique: Corpse Soil!!" Pouring her available chakra into the earth she summoned forth the corpese of the dead. They stood up and charged after Masumune.

"Trust me, you ain't seen nothing yet" Masamune smiled, then as the corpses were attacking him, he swatted them away like flies. "You won't be able to beat me with these lame ass things"

Masamune picked up a fallen tree and stomped his foot into the ground. The ground rose up as boulders and Masamune used the tree like a bat and fired the boulders towards his opponent.

As the boulders flew in her direction she slapped the ground with her hand. Reaching into the ground with her chakra she pulled a few of her remaining roots back into action. With her precise control she lashed out at the rocks and shattered them into mear pebbles. As they rained down she stood back up and formed a new hand sign. A Sendobara root sprung up and formed into the shape of a sunflower.
"Dodge this!" she shouted with glee. The Sunflower fired the seeds in a turret like fashion, and as they flew through the air, some of them sprouted outward like a net while others just fired bullet like at her foe.

Masamune used his tree as a shield to protect him from the seed as they spread along the tree trunk. Masamune threw the tree like a spear towards the woman and jumped into the air. Masamune wanted to finish this up so him transformed his hand with his curse seal and let loose a powerful punch which was boosted by a powerful booster on the back of his arm.

"HELL YEAH"

Masamune divebombed down to ground, with enough force to kill anything that got within 30 meters of the epicenter.
