This is because of how they're KKG allows them to stretch, At about the age of 10 you can start seeing how they are taller Height wise and Limb wise. Then through they're whole lives you can continue to see how much taller they are then the average person.(Note:This is only if they use they're KKG, Actively)
The Gomu Gomu Clan's ability is that each member is born with stretchy bones, Skin, Muscles ETC. This allows the user to stretch any part of they're body just as if it was Rubber or Gum.
The Clans major strength, Is that the person can stretch their body like rubber at will, and makes them almost entirely immune to blunt attacks, including bullets or even cannonballs. The user's ability to stretch and twist like rubber to extreme lengths not only makes them immune to injuries that originate from such, but it also allows them moves that can give them a great advantage in battle or otherwise. Stretching also allows the user to drastically increase the range of what would otherwise be considered a powerful close-range attack, turning it into a devastating mid-range or long-range attack. A stretched limb can also be used to store potential energy like a stretched spring, increasing the power of an attack. Owing to rubber's insulating properties, the user is also Partially-immune to electrical attacks. They cannot be Paralyzed or get Internal damage from Raiton and the strength of the jutsu is bumped down one rank. Taijutsu would go down 2 ranks.
The stretching abilities are available everywhere on or in The body, Such as the Lungs. The user can inhale great amounts of air to thus exhale a big gust of wind; this application of Their powers can be used to blow away a poison in Gas form.
By training They're Gomu Gomu abilities, Clansmen has found unexpected ways to increase Their fighting ability, such as the ability to stretch They're blood vessels wider to increase the speed of his blood flow in order to become faster and stronger, at a cost of depleting his body's energy at a faster rate. Clansmen can even inflate his bones to increase the volume of his body and significantly increase his attacks, at the cost of his body becoming smaller for a short period of time.
Despite all the great advantages the Clansmen gets by using his fruit, they can however still be hurt by cutting or stabbing attacks, as well as non-physical attacks such as fire or ice. One major risk of The clans powers is that they is vulnerable to attacks in the moments when his limbs are stretched to their limit, Also, For some reason, The clan has a great weakness to Suiton. When hit with Suiton they're Strength will be lowered and they cannot Stretch as Far anymore.

*Origins and History: This clan was Started by a Great Shinobi known as Shigeki. They say that he was a master of medical Arts and knew almost Everything about the human body. Shigeki was born and raised in Konoha, Where after Reaching Jounin, He locked himself up. He had become a S-ranked ninja feared by many, He was well Respected. That was when it happened.
Many say that they see him roaming around but alas, Those are lies. Shigeki got so caught up into Medical Arts he wanted to know how to make bones be able to stretch. He would practice and attempt for countless hours, Trying to figure out just HOW to be able to make a human be able to do such things.
Shigeki kept on getting annoyed when he could not find the answer so he locked himself up. They say it was May 5th that they last saw him. And just like that Shigeki had been lost and forgotten just as the wind passes by.
Ten years past and many People remembered him and still talked about him, But lots of people also believed he was just a myth. Just when it seemed the tales of Shigeki were going to end he appeared.
