The Angel's Training

Tenshi gained access into the forbidden training ground that was only used when the chunin exams were held. It wasn't a surprise, the forest was filled with poisonous plants, reptiles and insects, most non survivalists couldn't last a day. Not to mention there are many dangerous creatures lurking in the woods.

"Alright, I guess this place is as good as any" Tenshi said as they reached a small clearing "Alright let's get started"

Tenshi pulled out a kunai from Musashi and span it in the air.

"Now, first lesson, I want you to fire this kunai back at me with your foot"

Tenshi then threw the kunai straight at Musashi.

Musashi had followed Tenshi to the forest, trusting her almost completely. He just didn't get any bad feelings about it, he knew it seemed careless to trust a stranger, but he felt nothing evil about her intentions. Tenshi pulled a kunai, Musashi's reaction time was slow. Next it was thrown for him, with the simple instruction: fire it back with his foot.

Musashi jumped backwards, spinning in midair so he faced the opposite direction of Tenshi. He kicked his foot out, the kunai would pierce into it, so he lowered his foot and had the heel face upwards. As the kunai passed over his foot, he gathered chakra and released it steadily as done when climbing solid surfaces with only chakra. The kunai stopped, practically attached to his right foot. Alright, now I've gotta get some momentum, and release the chakra holding the kunai at the perfect time. In doing so it should fly towards her perfectly, more or less, he thought.

Pushing from the ground, he rose into the air. Musashi brought his right leg around, and released the chakra as he spun, the kunai detached from his foot, and flew at Tenshi. Musashi landed, the kunai was off target, as he had intended it to go for Tenshi's chest, instead it flew towards her left shoulder. For the most part, however, it had gone well.

Tenshi grabbed the kunai between her fingers. She gave a small smile.

"Good, now I want you to survive this" Tenshi said as she bit her thumb made a series of hand signs, then pressing her hand on the ground. "Summoning jutsu"

Tenshi summoned two large snakes, both as large as trees.

"Now, these two are snakes that I summon, they have agreed to train you" Tenshi said as she petted the snakes "I want you to use Taijutsu to dodge their attacks and counter, try and use diversions, they have a straight forward approach"

Musashi nodded, keeping any trembling from occurring. This is only training after all, worse case scenario, I get a little banged up, he assured himself.

So Musashi jumped back three meters, readying himself for the snakes. Alright, just avoid their attacks, and counter.... He kicked off the ground, landing comfortably in a tree. No time for comfort, however. So he jumped onto another branch, as one of the snakes attempted to bite at him. The branch didn't last. Um.... scratch the "a little banged up", it's gonna be really bad if they touch me, he thought.

Musashi had been doing fairly well at avoiding them, just keeping out of range, staying away from them, though he had wandered away from the spot he and Tenshi had been at. Musashi decided to make his way back to her. When he saw her again, he asked, "Am I allowed weapons?" Lunging from the tree, and skidding along the dirt upon his finger tips as the branch made a collapsing sound behind him.

"Daw, I'm lost." Seichi hissed jumping up and down the trees. She couldn't find her way to the hideout, and she's been searching for days. She even went to the trouble of asking villages to take her in. It was worth it of course, she got free food before going off the next day. And here she was in Konoha, maybe. She didn't really know. All she knew is that she was in a forest.

"Now what?" She asked herself, standing in the middle of the forest. She closed her eyes, hoping to hear something. That's when she heard it. A familiar sound. The sound of...battle. Man, she hasn't gotten a good spar since, she didn't know when it was. She smiled following the sound and edged near it.

She saw a couple sparring and she grimaced. Amateurs. She jumped up the tree and sat there. She gazed at them, activating her kekkei genkai to it's first level.

"Neeeeh, Can I play?" She called out to them.

[Sorry it's short. Got nothing to say]

Tenshi looked to the side with her Sharingan to see a girl sitting in a tree. But she had thought of this and had a clone investigate. Tenshi's clone appeared from behind the girl.

"Spying isn't good" Tenshi's clone said "You should use a greeting before intruding"

Tenshi watched over Musashi battling the snakes.

"Yes you can use weapons" Tenshi's clone approved "Not that it will help you when they are this big"

Hanataba had been running, sort of as conditioning. She had been running around the village's perimeter. She was passing the Forest of Death, and heard the sounds of branches being crushed. This obviously piqued her interest, as the forest was not hosting the Chunin Exams at this time of year.

Hanataba found that one of the gates had been opened: the one nearest the sounds. She made her way in, and headed straight for the sound. As she came upon it, she saw only one person: a boy, early teens, she recognized him for he had competed in the same Chunin Exam as her. He was still a Genin. There were two snakes, viciously attacking him.

She immediately decided to help, not the slightest hesitation. "Hanaton: Blossoming Field!!" she exclaimed as she formed hand signs. A field of flowers bloomed all around the clearing, and the boy was most likely wondering why she'd made flowers to help him. Then she made more hand signs. "Hanaton: Petal Shuriken!!" She shouted, and the petals from the flowers all around the clearing shot at the two snakes with the sharpness of shuriken. "Don't worry boy," she called, "I can help!!"

*Description: A field of flowers is caused to bloom after the caster pumps some of their chakra into the ground. These flowers are completely ordinary, and have no use except to be used for future ninjutsu.

*Type: Ninjutsu
*Nature: Hanaton
*Description: Any flowers around the jutsu's caster will fire their petals at any target chosen by the caster. The flowers move at such a quick speed and they become sharper through the usage of chakra. These can be used a small shuriken and can be pretty harmful considering the speed and precision of the attacks.

Tenshi noticed a large amount of flowers suddenly grow from the ground. She activated her Sharingan and found that they weren't any normal flowers as they began to fire petals at high speeds. Tenshi created four more clones and each made a series of hand signs.

"Katon: Karyuu no Endan" Tenshi said as she and her clones burned away the flowers and the petals, while looking around for who started the jutsu.

When Tenshi landed she despelled her clones and looked towards where she had spotted the attacker, she deactivated her summoning jutsu, those snakes would be more of a liability than help. She then disappeared, appearing only a few feet in front of the girl.

Tenshi looked at the little girl.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?"

As Musashi fought back the snakes, a newcomer arrived. This newcomer was a female, she seemed familiar. She caused a field of flowers to bloom around the clearing, an odd technique. Next the flowers shot petals like shuriken, and she claimed she was helping him. Tenshi launched a katon technique and eradicated the flowers. Musashi turned to look at the girl, a puzzled expression upon his face.

"Um, who are you again?" Musashi asked her awkwardly. "Sorry, I'm just not good at remembering..."

Though her attack was halted, the snakes disappeared. The boy, Musashi, she remembered it now, asked, "Um, who are you again?" She felt a little irritated that he didn't remember her, but since they had spoken so little, if at all, she couldn't blame him. "I remembered your name, Musashi-san," she said. "The name is Hanataba, remember it this time!" She commanded.

Then she looked around. The snakes were gone, no harm seemed to be in the area.... "Where did those snakes go? And where did they come from to begin with?" She asked him.

"Spying isn't good" A clone said "You should use a greeting before intruding" Seichi stuck her tongue out before jumping off the tree and landed perfectly on her feet. A newcome r came around and Seichi grimaced. The girl threw flower-things at the other girl who made clones. Everybody seemed to know each other.

" I wanna fight too." Seichi whined as she stomped her feet on the ground, barely making noises. The geta didn't help with that, she was almost as soundless as ever. Her black yukata slowly ruffled in the wind.

"I am a good fighter." She muttered, in a tone that children use when they brag. Of course she wouldn't use any attacks over C-ranked unless necessary. She plotted things like this. They probably thought that she was merely an academy student.

She grimaced at the ladies. The one who made flowers seemed like an amateur, and the other one seemed dangerous. All right... The boy though seemed inexperienced. Seichi smiled turning back to the girl who made a clone.

"All right, my name is Gaki-chan." Gaki was her alias, a name she used when introducing herself. Seichi was a killer, Gaki-chan was merely a child.

Musashi nodded. Hanataba, that sounds familiar now!! Sorry, Hanataba-chan.... but," he began. He then noticed that Tenshi seemed to be gone. Hm... Well... I guess I don't mind talking with Hanataba for a while, if Tenshi-sensei is doing something else, he thought. Then he looked back at Hanataba, "Like I was saying, since I was rude in forgetting your name, I should make it up to you. I can buy you dinner!" Musashi smiled innocently, as if it were merely an attempt to make things right, when in fact he just wanted to go on a date. If all of my friends see me with such a hot girl, they'll be so effing jealous!! Plus, she's sooooo HOT!!! Musashi thought, keeping an innocent smile upon his face. Still, he couldn't allow his mind to wander far from Tenshi...

The boy's mind wandered momentarily, between the words "...but" and "Like". His eyes drifted away from her, as if checking for someone who was supposed to be in a certain location. Was this... a trap? Her suspicions were removed when the boy asked her on a date, for some reason that just changed her attitude. Perhaps it was the terrible false smile. This boy couldn't fake a smile, no way could he be involved in a trap to kill a Chunin. "Um, no thanks," Hanataba said politely. "Sorry, but I don't really date much unless it's someone... hm... special," she explained, but grinned politely.

Now, what was with that attack? She wondered. Perhaps the boy came in here to train, and was attacked by snakes? No, they vanished as if they had been summoned before, someone was trying to kill him.... Well, I guess I could always ask! So Hanataba stepped closer. "Oh and, please do not use the 'chan' honorific with me," she said, "but, answer me, why are you in the forest and where did that snake come from? Were you attacked?" She asked. It was Hanataba's responsibility to protect the village and the villagers, lower ranked shinobi, or civilians.

She said... don't use 'chan'? Dammit, she doesn't like me, otherwise she would've ignored it at the most... Musashi thought glumly. Then she went on, to ask if he was attacked. "Actually, no," he told her, "I was training with a kunoichi, but she's gone now, I don't know where she went." The more he thought about it, the more suspicious he got. I should find Tenshi-sensei, just in case, he decided. "I'll be right back!" he shouted to Hanataba, running off towards where Tenshi had been.

He couldn't find any sign of Tenshi here, but he kept searching the surrounding area. It wasn't long before he came unto a clearing, he peered into it from the safety of the brush, and saw two figures. One was Tenshi, the other appeared to be a little girl. Oh, she probably wandered in from the open gate, and now Tenshi-sensei is helping her out, Musashi realized falsely.

The boy jumped from his hiding spot, into the open next to Tenshi. Tenshi-sensei," he said, "Is this little girl lost? Can I help her out?" Musashi was too naive to be suspicious of the girl, then again he'd never thought much about transformation or the fact that one could simply appear younger by use of jutsu or even natural causes. His naivete was another possible reason that his promotion to chunin was delayed.

"Musashi don't" Tenshi said calmly "She isn't an ordinary little girl"

Tenshi looked at the little girl carefully, she had a rather impressive amount of chakra, either she had a kekkei genkai which provided that, or she is something else. Tenshi didn't have any leads, and she couldn't attack automatically. Tenshi disappeared and reappeared behind the one known as Hanataba, Tenshi moved at a speed that even Sharingan users couldn't keep up.

"He was training with me and those snakes were my summons" Tenshi said "I appreciate that you were trying to help someone, but you nearly harmed my friends"

Tenshi looked at the little girl again.

"Now, Gaki-chan" Tenshi said, her eyes revealing her Sharingan "I wonder if you can tell me what you are really doing here? This place is off limits to unauthorized people"

"She isn't an ordinary little girl" The woman the boy, Musashi called Tenshi, said. Seichi smirked. What a smart little teenager. She laughed and clapped her hand as she twirled excitedly.

"Yup yup! Gaki-chan is a special genin!" She said, enthusiastically. She never had an official rank, but she knew that she was way above genin-level.

"Now, Gaki-chan" Tenshi started, her eyes switching to her kekkei genkai's. "I wonder if you can tell me what you are really doing here? This place is off limits to unauthorized people"

"It is?" Seichi asked surprised. She wasn't acting, she really didn't know. She tilted her head to the side. So the sign did say that. She pouted.

"Then if it's unauthorized, what are you guys doing here?" Putting her hands on her hips she looked at the people who towered over her and asked that question. If they could get in here, why couldn't she? She had just as much rights as anybody.

"And I am lost by the way. Or at least I think so. Why is the wave country so hot? Where am I? Suna? Iwa? Konoha?" She looked around the place. This wasn't the wave country, nor was it kumo.

The boy ran off, and Hanataba had been close behind, but a girl appeared behind Hanataba. She said, "He was training with me and those snakes were my summons. appreciate that you were trying to help someone, but you nearly harmed my friends"

Hanataba looked embarrassed, she noticed Musashi in a clearing only meters away. She could see another figure. A little girl perhaps? She heard the girl speak, but only a little, as the distance covered her words. "Then.... unauthorized... doing.... lost... Suna? Iwa? Konoha?"

Hanataba ran closer. "Who is she?" She asked, gesturing towards the little girl. Something was different about her, she appeared normal, but for some reason, Hanataba felt oddly suspicious. This girl was more than she let on.

Musashi was getting a strange feeling from the girl, but she really did seem normal. Maybe his suspicion came from what Tenshi had said. "You're in Konoha, my home, and you'd better explain yourself right now if you don't want to die," He said cooly. His bold words masked his nerves, he was in no way scared, but nervous. "You mustn't take me lightly because I'm only a genin," he added, "'Cause I have power you should really fear, and I'm not afraid to use it to defend my home. Like I said, explain yourself, now."

I feel weird saying this stuff to someone who appears to be a child, but I trust Tenshi-sensei's judgement, and I can tell that she's hiding something, I don't want to use.... Musashi thought. Then a deep voice filled his mind, "Oh, please, you know that my power far exceeds your own!! My power is the only way you'd stand a chance if this girl is truly deceiving you!!" Musashi ignored the Kyubi, he hadn't listened to it in a while. Its power was one of the few things that truly scared him, the thought of its ferocious power, able to tear down and slaughter all he held dear was truly frightening.

"I'm allowed in here because I have permission from the Hokage, I brought Musashi with me so he is allowed" Tenshi explained, then grabbed Hanataba from behind."This girl here, however, is not"

"You are in Konoha, I suggest you leave the forest right now, both of you, I don't wish for either of you to come to any harm due to lawbreaking"

Tenshi then noticed a flicker of chakra with her Sharingan, she looked to see a fluctuation in Musashi's chakra.

"Musashi come here" Tenshi said as she grabbed Musashi and made eye contact with her Sharingan.

Tenshi's mind entered Musashi's and looked at the Nine-Tailed Fox sealed within a cage.

"So this is the dreaded Nine-Tailed Fox?" Tenshi said "I find it hard to believe a creature like this is sealed within Musashi"

Hanataba blushes. "Sorry," she apologizes and vanished.

The Kyubi noticed that there was a new voice was here, and a newcomer. "Am I doomed to witness this repugnant sharingan yet again?" The fox boomed. His voice large, deep and menacing. "How irritating! And this little girl thinks she's great, she's only a pup!! HAH! I've killed so many shinobi I can't even count, and they were all stronger than you, no doubt!!"

"You shouldn't insult Tenshi-sensei, it's unfair to judge someone's strength when you haven't even fought them," Musashi spat at the fox, still unsure exactly how Tenshi was here. "Besides, you won't be doing any killing from behind that cage!!"

"This cage will only hold out so long, the day will come when I break free, just you wait!! But, my conversation isn't with you boy, it's with the kunoichi. What is your name?"

"I am Tenshi, and I'm pretty sure you know of my kekkei genkai" Tenshi said calmly, she had met biju in the past, but she had never seen one like this "If you know my Sharingan, then you should know how this eye works on you, you will never corrupt this boy, so long as I'm here"

Tenshi took her blade from her sheath and sliced on her hand, which the slice appeared on her real hand.

"I swear on this spilled blood, I will make sure you are never released to make havoc again" Tenshi said, her Sharingan flaring "Now begone!!!"

Tenshi forced the demon fox to dematerialize and remain silent. She turned to Musashi.

"I will keep that promise, Musashi" Tenshi said with a smile "You can count on me"

Musashi nodded. Tenshi really did seem trustworthy. They were back outside now, facing the little girl. "You're still here?" he asked. "You really should go, you aren't permitted to be here..." Musashi told her.

[[Sorry it's REALLY short, but I had no idea what to post, so...]]

The hunter-nin suddenly appeared and unleashed a fire style jutsu towards Tenshi. She quickly moved out of the way and made a few hand signs.

"Chidori" Tenshi said as she struck at the ninja, she hit him straight on, but it was revealed to be a shadow clone, even Sharingan users couldn't tell the difference. "Damn, a shadow clone"

Tenshi received an attack from behind, but it too was revealed to be a clone. The ninja looked in surprise when he had a blade of lightning exiting his chest.

"You had a good starting move, but a bad follow through"

The ninja looked back at Tenshi, he had a smile on his face.

"Heh, you got me there, this is the power of an Uchiha eh?"

"I spared your life, I missed your heart on purpose" Tenshi said "Please, do not continue, I do not wish to kill you"

"Too bad, my leader doesn't do good to failures, so if I my village can't have you, no village can"

The ninja turned around and grabbed Tenshi, revealing his body was covered in explosive tags. Tenshi struggled to get free, but she was unable to.

"I have you in my ultimate suicide jutsu, your body has been paralyzed by my special chakra, you can't move to make hand seals"

"I don't have to" Tenshi said as she charged her body full of her chakra.

The explosion was normally enough to kill a normal person. But when the dust cleared, Tenshi was completely fine, not a single scratch on her. She looked down at the hunter-nin, who was dying from his bombs. He looked at her with a surprised glance.

"How?" The ninja coughed, his body was heavily burnt

"Raiton no Yoroi, a jutsu I copied from a powerful opponent" Tenshi said calmly "It is a powerful technique that increases strength, speed, and defense"

"I see, I guess I understand why the leader wanted you, but I am one of the weaker jonin, you will be hunted by all in my village, be afraid" The ninja said with his dying breath

"She won't have to" A new person suddenly arrived, a young but sickly man "Because Konoha is on her side"

"Shiro? What are you doing here? You should be taking care of the village not me, as the Hokage you should be doing things for your village not me" Tenshi said in a somewhat worried tone.

"I'm here because I am thinking about what is best for the village" Shiro said with a smile "Now come with me, I will speak with you in private"

Shiro turned around and then turned to notice Gaki, he walked towards her.

"Well hello there little one" Shiro said as he patted her head "What are you doing here? Are you lost? That's not good I'll have some of my men escort you"

Shiro snapped his finger and two ANBU appeared

"Yes Hokage-Sama?"

"Escort this girl out of the forest, and maybe treat her to some ramen at Ichi's"

"Yes Sir!"

"Now let's go Tenshi, I'm sure you'll like it"

"Alright"

Tenshi and Shiro disappeared, leaving no trace of their presence.

Musashi could hardly follow the events that ensued. First a hunter nin attacked Tenshi-sensei, then another ninja arrived, this one Musashi recognized, and escorted Tenshi away. Only himself, two ANBU, and the one called Gaki. Musashi didn't want to stay. "Meh, guess it's back to the books..." He muttered, dashing away.
